The recommended wattage of this 0.8ohm pod cartridge is 14w - 28w. From the aspect of my personal experience, 14w-18w would be a perfect power range for this pod in conjunction with its fixed airflow.

The cherry becomes more prominent adding flavour while the menthol is stronger when vaped at 18W. I found the best results when pushing up to the maximum recommended setting of 25W.

To reset the puff count, select Puff Clear or Puff Reset from the menu, or press the Fire and Down buttons, depending on your model. Most mods can be reset to factory defaults by removing the battery and pressing the Up and Down buttons together.

The most likely cause of auto-firing (and an easy fix) is condensation and debris in the pod chamber. If you experience auto-firing, one of the first things you should do is pull out the pod and inspect the inside chamber of the device.

You might need to change the coil every couple of days. If you are a regular vaper but not particularly heavy, it could last a week or two. Irregular or casual vapers might find they need only change their coil every four weeks.

While it's suitable to be selected at between 40 and 100 watts, you'll achieve the best results by setting you wattage between 60 and 80 watts.

If you're looking to experiment with better flavour and less vapour from your eliquid, we recommend you try the 0.8 Ohm mesh pods instead, which feature a mesh coil build.

Avoid Chain Vaping: Continuous vaping without breaks can overheat the coil and reduce its lifespan. Try to take breaks between puffs. Use the Right E-Liquid: Thicker e-liquids can clog your coil faster. Using a thinner e-liquid, especially in pods designed for nic salts, can help your pod last longer.

However, if a coil burns out fast, it's usually for one simple reason - the coil is not saturated with e-liquid.

If you're experiencing more burnt hits than not, it's a sign that you need to replace your coil. Prolonged vaping using the same coil will eventually wear out the wick, which evaporates your e-liquid to create vapour, causing that nasty burnt taste.

If the pod doesn't firmly touch the connections inside the chamber of the SMOK Wave, the device won't work. Remove and reinsert the pod. If that doesn't work, clean the contacts on the bottom of the pod and inside the SMOK Wave. You can use a cotton swab to remove dust and grime.
